Advocacy

RUN regularly advocate to government and policy makers to promote our network’s position on tertiary education, research and regional development policies. RUN achieve this through evidence-based policies, publications, and submissions.

RUN universities are committed to delivering the highest standards of tertiary education, training and research to our communities.

In recognising the unique place that regional universities occupy in our national tertiary landscape, RUN routinely advocates to government and policy makers to positively influence decision-making and policy formation. RUN achieves this by developing and promoting submissions, publications and policy positions on key issues.

RUN’s advocacy is based on a positive, evidence-based and solutions-focussed approach to representing the needs of regional Australians and their universities.
