Collaboration in languages and creative and performing arts
RUN universities are collaborating to offer language and creative and performing arts units on an online or distance basis. Starting from semester two, 2015, students enrolled at RUN universities may choose to enrol in units offered by other RUN members. This will provide students with greater subject choice and will help to sustain the cultural life of regional communities by keeping the study of languages and the performing and creative arts alive.
Languages available under this initiative include Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, French, German, Italian, Spanish and classical languages. Offerings in creative and performing arts include music, theatre, visual arts and design, creative writing, communications and media and film and television.
